About

Watching a One Act Play Festival is akin to ordering off the Tapas menu at your favourite restaurant. A bit of everything you fancy and still enough room for a glass of wine. There is something for everyone here with three diverse one act plays performed over three weeks.

PART 1 *26th Sep – 6th Oct*

The Actors Nightmare (running time 40 mins)
By Christopher Durang
Directed by Catherine Boniface
One man. No lines. What could possibly go wrong?

&

The Zoo Story (running time 40 mins)
By Edward Albee
Directed by James Bell
Peter and Jerry, who meet on a park bench. Peter is a wealthy publishing executive with a wife, two
daughters, two cats, and two parakeets. Jerry is an isolated and disheartened man, desperate to have
a meaningful conversation with another human being.

PART 2 *9th – 13th Oct*

The Lady’s Maid’s Bell (running time 1 hr 30)
By Edith Wharton
Directed by Jason Moffatt
A classic ghost story. Alice Hartley is the new lady’s maid at gloomy Brympton Hall. But why won’t Mrs. Brympton use the servant’s bell that connects with the room of her new lady’s maid?
